The word doula is a Greek word meaning "women’s servant".  Women have been serving other women in childbirth for many centuries and have proven that support from another woman has a positive impact on the labor process. 

As your birth doula I will be there to give you and your birth partner continuous emotional, physical, and educational support. My purpose as your doula is to help you and your birth partner have a safe, memorable and empowering birthing experience.
